Glazer Children's Museum
Today we went to the Grand Opening of the Children's Museum. Gavin saw the special on the news on TV last night and was soooo excited to go there. He LOVED it and did not want to leave! There was so much to do! They have boats, a firestation, firetruck, water area with floating toys, balls..etc., a child sized Publix, Outback Cafe (where the kids can pretend cook and serve you), wall climbing, building, animal clinic.....and the list goes on and on. There were so many different ways for him to use his imagination!! It was crowded, but he still managed to push his way through and do the things he wanted!

Friends!
My BFF right now is Landon and I spend a lot of time with him at Nana's house. But Mommy also tries to have me spend some time with other kids my age as much as possible. Last week I got to hang out at Aunt Lora's house with Noah and today I played with my "girlfriend" Addi. Addi and I have been friends my whole life!! ;) I think she is so pretty!
This is Noah..do we look like we could be brothers? Mommy thinks so!

Summer Fun!!
Mommy, Daddy and I have been trying to have some fun family time together this summer. We went to Busch Gardens a couple of weekends thanks to Nana who bought us season tickets! I LOVE there new Sesame Street Place. It is so soooo much fun! When I was there I tried to watch a 4D Sesame Street show. But as soon as Big Bird sprayed his hose and real water hit us, I got scared and we had to leave. Now, everyday, I talk about being brave and going back to see the show again. I am always fascinated by things that scare me! Mommy promised me that she would take me back to see it again real soon. I told her "I won't cry next time. I not scared!"
I also spent a lot of time in the children's splash area! I love to get wet on these hot summer days and splash around in the water!

More 2 yr old conversations..
It is so fun talking to a two year old! Tonight's conversation went like this (keep in mind it's only August)...
Mommy: Gavin, it's time to get ready for bed!
Gavin: No Mommy, lets sit on the couch and talk.
Mommy: Okay, what do you want to talk about?
Gavin: Santa Claus
Mommy: Okay, what about Santa Claus?
Gavin: I'm going to sit on his lap. I'm gonna kiss him and hug him. I ask for all the presents!
Mommy: Okay, but you will have to wait a while...he's still in the north pole.
Gavin: I gonna go drive my car and find him. Come on!
Mommy: Not right now...it's time for bed!
Gavin: NO! Lets talk about Santa Claus.
Mommy: He is probably sleeping and you should be too. He knows when you've been naughty so you better be good and go to bed.
Gavin: Oookay, I not naughty Mommy! (then he walks towards his room with a little fake cry)
He has been talking about Santa Claus all day. I don't get it...it's only August, lol! Guess it will be a fun Holiday this year!

SO musical!
I know it has been forever since I have posted on here, but now that Daddy is trying to build a new business, time is just getting away. I spend a lot of time alone at home with Gavin (he keeps me busy!) and we haven't had as much family time lately...however we do still get some family time on weekends.
Anyway, Gavin has been really into music lately. He plays guitar, piano, keyboard, sings all day long and now he is even trying to play my french horn. His favorite song to sing is still probably "Happy Birthday", followed by "Sing a Song." Thanks to his Aunt Tiffy, he knows all the words to more children songs than me! Or maybe he is making up songs? He sang a couple songs today that I didn't recognize at all but he told me "Aunt Tiffy sings dat!" He's so cute!

Time flies...
We have just been so busy around here lately, with Daddy getting a new job, that we haven't had much time to create blog posts. Gavin is becoming more and more fun everyday and it is exciting to view the world through his eyes. He is saying so much now and starting to test his boundaries as most two year olds do. But, he is a really good toddler and he LOVES to entertain Daddy and I and make us laugh. He has been playing the piano a lot and singing his favorite songs (like the Theme Song from "The Little Einsteins"). I also give him a few lessons now and then and he is starting to learn where middle C is and what a treble clef is!
