Stocking video

Here is a funny little video clip of Gavin taking toys out of his first stocking. He doesn't seem all that thrilled about its contents...

Merry Christmas!

I am all Mommy wanted for Christmas!

Gavin is the most spoiled baby ever! But not in a bad way of course. We don't want anyone to think we are raising a spoiled brat! But really, he got soooo much for Christmas. I am thinking after his birthday in January, he will have every toy ever made for babies. He is one lucky baby to be loved so much by everyone. He says "thank you" to all his grandparents and family for being so generous. He especially loves his crawl to cruise ball toy, new rocking horse, all the books and his Elmo Live doll. We also went to three different holiday gatherings with family. One was at our house on Christmas Eve, The Parker's on Christmas Day and then another gathering on December 28th. We hope everyone had a wonderful Holiday!

Gavin did get one thing he did not want for Christmas. He started feeling sick Christmas evening and he had a fever of about 101.8. So the following morning we took him to the Dr. and sure enough he had a double ear infection and a sore throat. They put him on amoxicillin and three days after being on that he had a reaction and broke out in a rash so we had to switch his antibiotic. So far he has done okay on the new one. He seems to be feeling much better now!

Here are a few of the hundred pictures we took...

This is what Santa brought me!

Oh! I wonder what it is...

Wow! This unwrapping stuff is a lot of work!

It's a mini sports center!

What did you dress me in?

Cutest Santa ever!

Hey Man! Think we can escape?

Hard to get a good family picture, but we tried!

I was soooo sick!

Christmas Eve!

I left some cookies for Santa!

I had my first introduction to gift opening on Christmas Eve. We got together with my mom's side of the family, Grandma and Grandpa Pusztai, The Lisman's and my Great Grandpa Joe. We all ate a ton of food and had a great time. I got to try meatballs and homemade lasagna for the first time. It was so yummy! I LOVED the meatballs! I am definitely my Daddy's son!

My favorite cousins Katie and Bryce helped me open presents!

One month until the big day!

Gavin is 11 months old today and I can HARDLY BELIEVE it!! I am not sure how our baby is becoming a toddler so fast! Just two days ago he started pointing at everything. He LOVES pointing at the Christmas trees all.day.long! I am waiting for his first "What's that?" to go along with the pointing, but so far no real words. He did say "bye bye" a few days ago while waving, but he has not said it since.

He is also working on another new tooth next to his bottom front teeth. That will be his fifth tooth coming in! He has been in pretty good spirits for a baby who is teething and fighting a cold. All morning he was giggling and babbling like a happy little boy! He is at such a fun age right now. So, I am going to work on inventing a device that will freeze time.

Some of his 11 month pictures are a little fuzzy because Mommy was experimenting with manual mode on the camera. Turns out I am not so good at that! I don't think a career in photography is in my future! Just don't enlarge them and they look much less grainy, haha!

Duets...

Yeah, that's right! Addy and I play duets on the piano. What can I say? We're just two talented babies! You might want to call us "musical savants..." or maybe umm...we're just learning, but Mommy thinks it is beautiful.

We also like to listen to the music on the toy fish aquarium together...

Ho,ho, ho!!

I got to see my newest two friends tonight, Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus. I did not cry or anything, but I thought he was a little funny looking. I told him what a good boy I have been and I know he will bring me everything I want for Christmas this year!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

I had two Thanksgiving dinners on my very first Thanksgiving. In the morning we went to Grandma and Grandpa Parker's house and in the evening we went to Aunt Lora's. What a great day it was! I got to try all kinds of new foods like turkey, mashed potatoes, real apples (not cooked), mac and cheese, rolls, stuffing and more. I loved everything that I could shovel into my mouth! I am thankful that I have such a wonderful family and that I got to share the day with everyone.

I wasn't too thrilled to be in my walker...

Sooo sick...

Poor little baby has finally caught Mommy's horrible virus. He had a fever all day yesterday and wouldn't take his bottle or eat much. It was a rough night last night since he couldn't sleep with his stuffy nose. We're hoping for a better night tonight. Daddy is sick now also. My two little men need to get better! Daddy took these two gross snotty pictures!

10 months!!

Wow! In just two months Gavin will be one year old. I can not believe it! The 10 month pictures were a little harder because he has learned how to escape his Bumbo seat and he will not sit still for very long!We also got to have his little friend Addison over today. She was not feeling well and kind of grumpy (or maybe she just needed to get used to Gavin and I). I learned that when one baby cries, they both cry! I needed more hands today. It's really too bad I was not born with four arms. ;) But seriously, it wasn't easy but we all survived. They will be hanging out more often once Mommy gets her new work schedule so hopefully they will get used to each other and develop some kind of routine. They also practiced "sharing" and Gavin tried to give Addy a kiss, but she wasn't having any of that!

His "sort of" words...

Gavin isn't really saying words yet, but every once in a while he will mimic something we say. Although it is pretty random and he has no idea what we are saying so they don't count as true words. Sometimes we can get him to say what sounds like banana, poop, up ( he says pup or bup), ball, bye bye, mama and dada. We wonder what his first real word will be. Grandma Parker thinks he will just come out and say "Jewel, shut up!" since he hears that so much at their house (Jewel is their dog). I ,of course, think it will be "mama." Someday he will look at me and realize I am Mama! ;) Right now anyone and everything is "Mama" when he is fussy and "Dada" when he is happy. You have to admit though....a babbling baby is the cutest sound ever!

More teeth...

I am getting my top front teeth now. The top right tooth is poking through! I have been such a good boy despite the fact that I am teething. No one would have known except that I don't want my bottle as much. Mommy thinks I am already trying to wean myself! We're not sure if any of my top teeth are "double teeth" like my one bottom tooth. That is yet to be determined.

Here are some random pictures from this week...

My cousin Landon was unhappy at that moment!

This tunnel at the park was sooo cool to crawl through!

I love my new ride! Thank you Grandma Parker!

I get put in this playpen WAY too much for my taste!
