First Phrase!

Guess what? Our little man went away to Grandma's for two days and tonight when he got back he was talking up a storm. I said "I love you" to him and he repeated it back to me. I could not believe it! Gavin said I love you!! He may have only been mimicking me, but I was so excited to hear him say a whole phrase. He also said "Elmo Shoes" when I pointed to his shoes. He is combining words and everything and just two days ago he was not! I love this little guy so much!

Memorial Day Fun!

On Memorial day we were all off so we went to a BBQ at Grandma and Grandpa Parker's house. Gavin played with his buddy Landon and enjoyed some time outside at the backyard "waterpark" once it stopped raining. The boys both LOVE water!! I think I need to set this up in our backyard at home. It would be hours of entertainment!

It's a Small World Video Clip

Here's my first time on "It's a Small World." This video is not very exciting and a lot of it is dark, but I am posting it for Aunt Tiff and Grandma. I didn't want you to miss my first time on this classic ride...

Disney World!

We went to Disney a couple weekends ago and I haven't had a chance to post about it yet. It was exhausting to go to Disney world two days in a row with a 1 year old, but we all had fun. The first day we went to Animal Kingdom and Magic Kingdom the next day. Gavin didn't look like he was having much fun in some of the pictures, but he was! It was REALLY hot though. I think when we went to the Magic Kingdom on Sunday it was about 92 degrees.

His favorite rides were "Buzz Light Years" and "The Haunted House." It figures that our kid would like one of the scariest rides! When the lights went out and the loud thunder crashed in the beginning of the haunted house ride, he was signing and shouting "MORE,MORE!" That's our boy!

I'm so proud of our little man. He is saying or at least trying to say so many words now. Many don't sound like they're supposed to, but he is close! At least Mommy and Daddy understand them.
