Milestones...

This has been a month of milestones. Gavin can now climb furniture successfully (unfortunately), go poop on the potty, count to ten, run like crazy and throw some big tantrums!

Gavin went "poo poo" on the potty AGAIN yesterday and TONIGHT! He does not have any clue when he needs to go pee though. But still, I can't believe he is doing this already. We'll see if he keeps it up.
He has also been counting a lot and can count to ten with me. By himself, he can do 5-10 really well but he tends to mess up 1-5. I tried to get a good video with him counting to ten, but the ones I have aren't that great because he has his hands in his mouth the whole time (he has some molars coming through).
What a toddler our little baby has become! We can see all the signs of the "terrible twos" coming our way, but he is teething so I think that is contributing to the attitude. One minute he is laughing , running in circles and then out of nowhere he is clinging to my leg and screaming! He is so much fun though. We spend a lot of the day acting goofy, making silly faces and laughing together.

Trying to sing ABC's...

Gavin LOVES to sing all kinds of songs! One of his favorite songs is the ABCs so here is another little video clip of an attempt at the song. This was taken a couple weeks ago. He is getting more and more letters every day!

Potty time!!

Can you believe it? I got home from work today and Daddy said Gavin had something to show me. I went into the bathroom and sure enough, he had gone "poop" on his potty. I couldn't believe it! We haven't really done much with his little potty or pushed the subject at all. But after his bath tonight, he said "stinky" and sat down on his potty and went. I know it may have been coincidence, but at least he got the connection! We even took a picture, but I think we'll spare everyone that lovely image.

Breakfast on the beach

Chillin' at the beach!
This weekend we had breakfast with Grandpa and Grandma Pusztai on the beach. It was good food and good fun! I played on the playground and kicked around a beach ball. Then, I ate sausage, eggs, southwest potatoes and a blueberry muffin! After we ate, we went swimming in the ocean and I brought some shells to my Mommy!

Here Mama! Dis is for you!

18 month appt!

Gavin had his 18 month well-check appointment about two weeks ago and he is still our little peanut with a small head! Stats are as follows:

Height: 33 inches 70%
Weight: 22lbs 2.08 oz. 7%
Head Circumference: 18 inches 6%

I think he gets his small head from Mommy, but we still have a large brain. ;) Gavin is getting smarter everyday. It is such a joy watching him learn something new every single day. He is starting to say phrases like: "I love you" (if prompted), "All done!," "Where did it go?", "Get the ball" and "Bye bye now." He also can sing so many songs and he knows all the words to "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star." I was pretty impressed when he sang every word along with me, but I am a little biased. He LOVES music and we listen to children's songs all day long! He will copy clapping patterns and has really great rhythm too.
